11 things iPhone Owners Can Do That Android Owners Can’t

If you have chosen Apple products over Android, then rejoice because some cool features are exclusively available on iDevices. As technology is progressing and customers are buying more dedicated accessories (smart home gadgets, smartwatches, wireless speakers, wearables, and more) for the mobile OS they own, they are getting locked into one platform.

The rivalry between Android and Apple is tough but iPhone owners can take heart because their devices boast several stand-out features. What are the things you can do on Apple devices only? Let’s have a look:

All Apple users who have iOS 11 can natively record the contents of the display and give an external voice input as well. So let’s say I have opened a blog about Spectrum offers on my Safari browser. I can record the screen as I am scrolling down the blog and record my voice as well.

9: See If Planes Are Flying Above You

This is a fun to have feature. Even though you can’t see them, there are always a bunch of airplanes flying above your head.

Ask Siri “planes overhead” and it will show a table with all the planes flying above your current location.

10: Ask Siri to Read Your Emails for You

Did you know that Siri is great at reading emails? Let’s say you are driving or occupied and you have a bunch of emails that you would like to see.

Ask Siri “read XZY email” or “read my latest emails.” You can also ask Siri to read your text messages when you are driving.

11: Program it to the “Do Not Disturb” Mode

You can program your iPhone to turn on the “Do not disturb” mode at certain hours of the day. It’s great for limiting screen time.

To turn on this feature, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Choose “Do Not Disturb” from the options
  3. Select “Scheduled
  4. Your phone will turn on the Do Not Disturb mode
  5. Choose the Time and that’s it

You won’t be bothered with anything during that time slot.
